Family mediation is structured around information provided by individuals, confidential discussion, and a combined effort to reach an agreement between the parties concerned.
In a process that is recognized by law and by specialists in family support, individuals will first meet separately with the mediator to discuss the various issues, personal and economic, which lie at the heart of the dispute; subsequently the parties will meet in the presence of the mediator, who creates a constructive framework and acts as an impartial third party.
The principle goal of mediation is to reach an agreement in a process rarely exceeding three months, allowing parties to express their points of view, enshrining them in a clear agreement that is recognized by the individuals concerned and by the courts.
