Anke de Villepin
I founded FAMILLE ET MEDIATION in 2010 with psychologist Marguerite de la Presle. I am a qualified lawyer and mediator with 15 years’ experience in conflict resolution in France and Germany. I now provide mediation services in the Paris area, within a network of professionals specialized in law and family support.
I hold a double German law degree and a doctorate which explored compensation after the breakdown of contractual negotiations in Spanish law. I began my professional career in Germany as a lawyer and then worked as a jurist and mediator in Germany, France, and in cooperation with other European countries.
To complete my State Diploma of Family Mediation (DEMF), awarded in in Strasburg in 2009, I wrote my dissertation on children in a bi-national context. During my subsequent work alongside a paediatric clinical psychologist in mediation I developed an interest in the effects of family conflict on children. At the same time, I began offering educational support for children in difficulty, developing networks and managing education and sports projects. Since the beginning of my professional career I have had many opportunities to observe the effectiveness of mediation.
With my international background and professional experience, I am open-minded and inquiring. I am bi-lingual in French and German and am also working in Spanish and English.
On a personal and professional level, I place great importance on listening, building trust, and advising others so they can reach a constructive and realistic goal.
Individual information, a confidential exchange and a joint work for the establishment of an agreement between the parties concerned characterize family mediation.
